Description: Portion of Rappahannock County Minute Book H from March 1866 in which the date for an election for an overseer for the poor in the Amissville district was discussed, a new under sheriff was appointed, and the decision to purchase the Hisle farm near Sperryville was approved. This property was to be used for the establishment of a new poor farm and an order was made to either rent or sell the poor farm property near Flint Hill.
