Description: Brochure for the June 19, 1926 auction of land owned by James H. Fletcher near Sperryville. His proposed development was to be called Park View Subdivision, with lot sizes varying from 1.16 acres to 128.15 acres. Buyers were urged to take advantage of the nearness of Shenandoah National Park, which was to begin construction soon. "It is a recognized fact that Rappahannock County is destined to become one of Virginia's greatest resorts...Millionaire financiers will invest heavily and important developments will surely come. There will be hotel development and completion of highways."
