Also known as Jetts, Calverts, Avon, Redd's, and Rush Mills. Commonly referred to as The Old Mill at Washington. In its prime, this mill was an extraordinary building. It was in operation through the first half of the 20th century. During the Civil War, it is said that the mill was a neutral trade post between the North and the South.
