Death notice of George Edward Johnson, son of George W. Johnson & Annie Carder Johnson. Mr. Johnson fell asleep on the train while on his way for induction at Fort Lee. He awoke in Norlina NC. Having to wait for a return train, he visited the local fire station. While there he got a drink of water from a cup that had previously held sulfuric acid for the fire extinguishers. He was rushed to the hospital, but he died after being unconscious for many hours.
