Baltimore newspaper article on the shooting of William Jordan by Dr. T. Booten at Chelf's Store in Flint Hill on July 4, 1904. The store stood on the lot on the corner of Rt. 522 and Fodderstack RD. In 1930 or 1931, the owner of the property. Mr. J. Frank Thornton set fire to the building and burnt it down.
