Page of Rappahannock Minute Book A in which the superintendent of the streets of Washington was ordered to return a list of persons failing to work the streets as ordered. Rules were also laid out regarding the duties of town lot owners to keep the streets clear. No timber, firewood, boxes, hogsheads, stones, or dirt were to be allowed to obstruct Main or Gay Streets or the crossroads leading to them.
