Minutes of the Board of Supervisors' meeting of October 1, 1879. At this session expenditures were approved to pay for expenses incurred in the medical care of county paupers, for providing homes for them, and for the making of clothes provided to them. A payment of $150 was ordered paid as part of the salary for the current Superintendent of the Poor, Posey M. Wayland and a vote was taken to elect a new superintendent.
