Description: One of the hostages held during the crisis with Iran gave a talk detailing his experiences to Mr. Fountain's sixth grade class at the elementary school in Rappahannock County. In April 1986 Col. Leland Holland talked to the students about his experiences while being held captive by the Mujaheddin. He and 52 other Americans were held as hostages for 444 days between Nov 4 1979 and January 1981.
