Description: Newspaper clipping from the Front Royal Record circa 1930 on a display by the children at the county's four Rosenwald Schools of their schoolwork. Philanthropist Julius Rosenwald contributed money towards the building of schools across the country for African-Americans whose schools at the time were segregated and who received little public funding for the schooling of their children.
