Description: News items collected by Jan Clatterbuck and shared in the February 27, 2014 edition of the Rappahannock News. From May 20, 1982, Carson Johnson was being sued by Mary Edna Schaeffer and others to prevent his building of an auto repair business in Sperryville. A beauty pageant had been held to raise money for the Sperryville Rescue Squad. From 1993, Jim Clark IV was one of the grand prize winners at a science fair, and county democrats honored buster Keyser, Ed Bailey, and Howard Butler.
