Description: Down Memory Lane items compiled by Jan Clatterbuck for the April 17, 2014 edition of the Rappahannock News. In 1973 Charlie Thomas competed in track and field at Pensacola Junior College in Florida and James Manuel a migrant laborer was picking up to 200 bushels of apples a day at local orchards. In 1982 Julie Burke performed with Virginia's Young Dominions at the 4-H Congress and the local boy scout troop attended summer camp in Gore.
