Description: News from Rappahannock in the July 16, 1929 edition of the Chief Justice. William Grimsley Wood had a Confederate Veterans Reunion planned for the 20th, Mrs. Hugh J. Racer had been struck by lightning, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Bywaters had spent the weekend at Colonial Beach, and the opening dance of the season was held at the new Panorama Lodge and Tea Room.
