Description: Civil War widow's pension application for Mary A. Vaughan. She was the widow of Samuel Vaughan. He served in Co. G., 12th VA Cavalry. They had married in 1874 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Woodville. She was living with her daughter near Hawlin at the time of the application.
