Description: Rappahannock social news taken from the Blue Ridge Guide and reprinted in the Fauquier Democrat. Mr. Robert Lewis Massie, clerk at the Rappahannock National Bank, was leaving for a job with Commercial National Bank in Washington DC. Mrs. Elisha Gore (nee Mary Racer) of Smedley died of pneumonia. Frank Lilliard and Cecil Compton were commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants at Camp McClelland.
