Description: Article written in 1951 on the history of the Methodist Church in Washington, VA. The building was erected in 1889 by the noted builder John A. Cannon of Manassas, VA. It was originally a Methodist-Episcopal church. There were only eight people affiliated with this denomination in Washington at the time of the church's construction.
