Description: Part of Rappahannock County Minute Book C addressing the May 1843 meeting of the Board of Trustees of the town of Washington. Two new members, Daniel Oneal and James B. Jones were sworn in by the Justice of the Peace of the county. It was ordered that those persons subject to working on the town streets could be exonerated from said duty by paying 50¢ per day of required street work.
