Description: Letter to Susan F. Tobin of Luray, VA from Joseph J. Perry of the 12th VA Calvary, Company C. In the letter he asks Susan to make a badge for his hat, made of green fabric and in the shape of 2 or 3 laurel leaves as Gen. Lee called their brigade the Laurel Brigade. He was camped near Natural Bridge at the time.
