Description: List of the slaves of Thomas Walden taken from the inventory done of his estate in July 1848. The Will and inventory are in Rappahannock County Will Book B. Thomas owned ten slaves: Davy, eighty year old Priscilla, Tacy, and her seven children. The slaves were left to his wife Lucy. An appraisal of her estate a year later shows the same slaves with the addition of an infant.
