Description: Image taken from a newspaper and kept in a scrapbook of Rev. John A. Broadus. Rev. Broadus was the son of William Broadus the first minister at Mt. Salem Baptist Church. He was at one time the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY and also in 1895 delivered a lecture at Yale University.
